Um Templo Egípcio

Desde 1960, Curitiba possui a Grande Loja do Brasil da Ordem Rosacruz. Faz parte um conjunto arquitetônico de 06 edifícios em estilo egípcio em homenagem aos seus primeiros membros que se reuniam na grande pirâmide.
Um deles abriga o Museu Egípcio e Rosacruz que se dedica a divulgar a antiga história egípcia. É um espaço aberto  ao público em geral, que deseja conhecer o Antigo Egito, com um grande acervo de réplicas idênticas as originais, que estão expostas em diversos museus do mundo. Possui a múmia de uma dama egípcia, com cerca de 2.700 anos, chamada Tothmea.  As visitas são agendadas previamente.





 

ROSICRUCIAN ORDER
 

The Rosicrucian Order Great Store was implanted in 1956 in Rio de Janeiro and it was transferred to Curitiba in 1960. The temple is one of the six buildings in Egyptian style that pays homage to their first members who made meetings inside secret chambers in the Great Pyramid.

In the others buildings are found the administrative office, “H. Spencer Lewis” auditorium, a memorial with a pyramid and Curitiba's Store. The Curitiba's Store has a library and Museum with replicas of Egyptian pieces of several dynasties, including papyrus and mummies.
